2. Description of Service

ThreatKestrel provides free, publicly accessible cybersecurity and network intelligence tools including DNS lookups, email authentication checks, SSL certificate analysis, blacklist checks, and IP intelligence. All tools are provided for informational and security research purposes.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to facilitate attacks, intrusions, or unauthorized access to systems you do not own.
• Automate requests at a rate that exceeds our published rate limits or disrupts the Service for other users.
• Use the Service to scan or enumerate infrastructure belonging to others without authorization.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limiting, IP-based access controls, or any security mechanism.
• Redistribute or resell tool results commercially without prior written permission.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. DNS records, blacklist statuses, SSL data, and all other results reflect publicly available information at query time and may not be accurate, complete, or current. Do not rely on these results as your sole source of security information.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThreatKestrel shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or its results.

6. Rate Limiting & Availability

We reserve the right to limit or suspend access for IPs that abuse the Service. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
